Adult Education Offerings on Israel at Kol Shofar is proud to present it’s Spring program dates:


Wednesday February 13 @ 7PM – Bridges to Israel Kick Off Shmoozefest. Join David Levine, our BTI chair, for an introduction and lively conversation on timely topics on the State of Israel.


Wednesday February 20 @ 7PM – Meet with a teacher and representative from Dror IsraelDror Israel is one of the largest, most diverse and unique educational organizations in Israel, serving 100K people every year.  It promotes a vision of democracy, equality, and peace created through education and community, where all share responsibility, benefit from opportunity, and realize their own potential.Through community partnerships, educational initiatives, Jewish-Arab youth programs, schools for at-risk youth, the youth movement, and public events, we inspire inclusivity, equality, and responsibility for oneself and ones community.


Wednesday March 27 @ 7PM – Open discussion on timely social and political Israeli news.


Wednesday April 17 @ 7PM – Local author Rina Neiman will present and discuss her recent book Born Under Fire, which is a historical novel about her real life mother, who was a native born Israeli during the pre-State years under British Mandate.


Wednesday May 22 @ 7PM – Open discussion on timely social and political Israeli news.


Note:  BTI encourages Kol Shofarniks to attend the talk by Ambassador Dennis Ross on Sunday February 10 @ 4PM at Congregation Emanuel (2 Lake St., San Francisco, 94118).  We will review his talk during the February 13th Kickoff.
