Learn about the controversy surrounding Ethnic Studies in California schools and antisemitism, and how it's playing out in Marin County. We will also discuss how to effectively advocate within school districts regarding antisemitism, whether it occurs in the classroom or outside of it.

Co-presenters:  Dr. Michael Harris and Laliv Hadar - Mike Harris has devoted himself to Israel activism and co-founded Bridges to Israel at Kol Shofar. He has been very active in the California Ethnic Studies controversy and will conduct a presentation and facilitate a discussion. Laliv Hadar, a Marin parent, will join Mike to provide the parent perspective, touch on what's been done in the Tamalpais district specifically, what parents need to know, and where we need to go next. All members are welcome to attend to learn about this topic that affects us all, particularly if you have children or grandchildren enrolled in K-12.
