2025 Camp Teva Registration

Campers at Camp Teva will have opportunities to explore in nature, get dirty, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment. Campers will be grouped based on their ages and will be immersed in the natural habitat of our preschool campus while learning about the terrestrial and aquatic critters that call this area home. Campers will also engage in baking, cooking, water play, music, outdoor games, art, and STEAM daily. Every Friday, we will begin our day with Shabbat together as a camp community. Camp Teva will be led by our Grove Preschool teaching team.

If you have any additional questions about camp, please contact Liza Monge: lmonge@kolshofar.org

We take photographs of children engaged in school and camp activities. I give Kol Shofar permission to use photos and videos of my child for outreach in marketing materials, social media, local publications and our  website. Your child’s name will never be shared.

I give permission for teachers and staff at Camp Teva to apply sunscreen, antiseptic lotion and ointment on my child.

My child has permission to take walking trips off of Kol Shofar campus.  Over the course of your children’s exploration and project work, teachers may plan walking trips around the neighborhood.  This may include the walking path next to Kol Shofar, the neighborhoods around Kol Shofar and Ring Mountain paths.  You will be notified in advance of any planned walking trips off campus.

I understand that my own health plan is the primary carrier for medical or dental expenses related to an injury sustained by a child at Camp Teva

I understand that The Department of Social Services of The State of California has the right at any time to review children’s files and interview children and parents

If my child is between the ages of 18 and 24 months old, they will be placed in the "toddler program". The Grove Preschool will follow all licensing requirements from Department of Social Services; The children enrolled in our toddler program will not be allowed to enter the preschool playground. Once my child turns two years old, I give them permission to enter the "preschool program" allowing them to have full use of the preschool campus.
