The group works its way through the Tanakh under the soulful facilitation of Rabbi Levy. This session explores the repentance of Jonah, the kindness of Ruth, the romance of the Song of Songs, and more. Please bring your own dairy/vegetarian lunch.

Incorporating text and discussion on biblical and rabbinic writings, history and culture, the meanings and metaphors of Jewish holiday celebrations, concepts of God and ethics, life cycle, Israel and basic Hebrew phonetics, this course enhances your connection to contemporary Jewish life and enables you to feel at home in synagogue and life cycle services. Rabbi Leider infuses her joy of learning through her teaching.
